Heroes Field Game September 13 Ross Field!
Glastonbury Little League and Glastonbury Amateur Baseball are raising funds to upgrade the lights at the Riverfront Park baseball field to energy efficient and environmentally friendly LED lights and as part of the process, re-name and dedicate the field “HEREOS FIELD” to honor our Veterans, Police , Firefighters. The fund raising goals is $190,000. As part of that fund raising effort, a baseball game featuring players, interested parents and coaches is scheduled for Ross Field on Wednesday September 13 at 6PM. The fundraising game fee is $50 per player. Registered players will be receiving a game shirt. Interested coaches, parents, Glastonbury baseball fans can register on the GLL website. The game will be played with the safety “soft incredible ball”. The refreshment stand will be open.
It should be an entertaining night for all and a great fundraiser for Heroes Field.
